Our in-house laboratory offers a wide variety of same day results. CBC, biochemical profile, heartworm and Lyme disease testing, parvo virus testing, urinalysis, fecal examination, and cytology.
We provide our clients with progressive and up-to- date preventative medicine including vaccinations, nutritional counseling, and physical examinations.
DENTISTRY
We can make your pet smile! Dental health is very important to your pet. We provide tooth scaling and polishing as well as dental extractions.
EXOTIC PET MEDICINE
Exotic pets need a doctor, too! We do routine and preventative care, dentistry, and surgery for exotic animals.
SURGERY
We do routine surgeries such as spay/neuter as well as emergency surgery and a wide variety of soft tisssue surgeries. Because we believe strongly in high quality medicine, we also provide ECG, breathing, oxygen saturation, and body temperature monitoring during anesthesia free of charge with surgeries.
X-RAYS
Full radiographic service is available.
HOSPICE AND GERIATRIC CARE
Old age is not a disease. There are many things that can be done to make an old dog feel young again. We offer comprehensive care for older pets to help them through their golden years. However, if your pet is near the end of its life, we are able to provide comfort and support.
PAIN MANAGEMENT
Pets deserve the same care and concern regarding pain as humans do. We have a variety of pain management options, whether for surgery, arthritis, or other painful conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What vaccines does my pet need?
Rabies vaccination is required by law. However, the need for other vaccinations is determined on an individual basis. For example, is your cat indoor or outdoor? Does your dog come in contact with wildlife? Do you plan on boarding your pet? That is why it's best to come in for an annual examination and consultation with the vet to determine the risk versus benefit of certain vaccinations for your individual pets.
Does my bunny/ferret/iguana/parrot/guinea pig/rat have to come to the vet every year?
Yes, most species of exotic pets are prey animals. This means that they often hide signs of illness until it may be too late. Your vet may be able to notice early signs of disease during an annual physical examination.
How do I get a lifetime license?
We can microchip your pet and then give you the application you need to apply for a lifetime license.
How much will a spay or neuter cost?
The answer to this question depends
on a number of factors, including the
age and weight of the pet. Also,
pets must be up to date on vaccines.
Please call and speak with our
knowledgable staff for individual
estimates.
Why can't you just give me an antibiotic?
It is illegal for vets to prescribe drugs for animals they have not examined within the past calendar year.
How old does my dog or cat have to be to get fixed?
Spays and neuters are generally done at six months of age.
